Numerous Strike Zone customers have requested that
Strike Zone Academy offer a class that will help their athlete get in
shape for the season.
We are excited to announce that we are now offering:
MVP Fitness Training
The main objectives of conditioning are to develop general strength and to enhance
sport-specific skills. The MVP Strength Training Program helps players increase speed, power, core strength, quickness, hand-eye coordination, hand-foot coordination,
endurance and improve balance.
The 5 tools of baseball and softball include running speed, arm strength, hitting for
average, hitting for power, and fielding. Our program is specifically designed
to target these 5 areas.
The three
main training areas include:
1. Flexibility:
Focusing on a full range of motion.
2. Anaerobic
Including sprint drills and change of direction exercises
3. Resistance
Emphasis on core and overall body strength
Cost:
$200 per player
($25 per session / 8 sessions)
Sessions will be held 2 times per
week (Mon / Wed or Tue / Thur)
Space is limited
to 10 athletes per session
