Congratulations to the 8U Donelson Dragons for recently graduating from the Strike Zone Academy Young Guns Velocity Program! These boys worked extremely hard for six weeks. They gained core strength, quickness, and arm strength. Most importantly, they learned the proper mechanics of throwing, which will lessen their chances of injury as they grow and mature.
Each of the Dragons were clocked using radar at the beginning of the program....and again at the final workout. Even though these boys are in coach pitch baseball for this season, each of the boys saw an increase in velocity of 1-3 mph. That is awesome!
